and...the results of boredom i was waiting for my dad to get home from work last night and went onto paint.net to mess around, and this is what i came up with i had this concept in my head for awhile, but i was going to paint it was acrylics originally... though as i look at this, i think i still will paint it on canvas with acrylics someday, because i think that'll look better.
anyhow, i said paint.net would not be my primary coloring programme, and i think i still stand by that. i also think i'm too stubborn to give up ms paint but for ms paint, it's just easier to color things, whereas on paint.net, there's too many buttons for me to color any linearts. so, for paint.net, i think i'll just use it for emoticons and random nonlineart paintings like this
oh yeah. it's called "out from the murk", because lotuses (one of mah favorite flowers~) are grown in lil' ponds like this, and they have to grow through black mud and several feet of water before blooming. i thought that was kind of philisophical, and can be used to describe someone going through the hardships of life before gaining total consciousness before they die. neat. anyhow, end fun story.
wow, yeah, maybe i think too much, but that story was kinda how i saw it before i read it, like the way its reaching towards the sun with the other flowers unbloomed below the surface.
yeah...moving on.
its really cool! yeah, paint.net is pretty cool! maybe once i stop acting like i have athiritis when i have a mouse i'll have a go at digital drawing.

lol, just teh result of three hours and having nothing else to do it was actually rather easy; it's just a bunch of colored lines and then blurring everything together

Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.
DeviantArt is full of extremely well produced artistic fashion and fine art photographs. Make up. Styling. Creation of scenery. Story. Light. Glamour. A combination of these expressions sometimes make up a great photograph. But the protagonists of these pictures are usually female.
So... now it's the time for male models to come into focus.
How to make DA work for YOU! Taking an in-depth look at how to make deviantART work for you, and getting the most out of your user experience. How to get comments, watches, your work scene, commented on, critiqued, and what you have to do. These are some of the things which I have learned since joining more than 4 1/2 years ago.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
