lolwut? this must seem very random but i saw a contest, and of course i must join it it's the gemstone/tarot card contest, which can be read about here --> [link]

anyhow, the gemstone i chose to do a picture representing is pearl (duh). i kind of like the dark skin with white hair and clothes, but shading such skin and clothes with freaking bright light was difficult >_< erg. i hope it goes well, since this was so different for me

anyhow, pearls come in from a few ways. there's pearls shining in teh water; teh moon is a sort of pearl; pearls come from teh ocean and the girl is rising from the ocean; she's holding a pearl (which you can only sort of see, lol); her jewelry is pearls; and... she's got white? which is colour of pearl? riiiight.

anyhow, this is the last thing you'll be getting from me for a week. i'll write a journal complaining about that tomorrow
