yeah, the background's supposed to be white it's supposedly fog. i had a weird dream recently and this picture was in it, so i wanted to paint it some of the colours didn't turn out too right... the water was supposed to be a bit greener, and everything was supposed to be darker. oh well. it's alright, especially for being a tree; normally i'm so lazy on them, but i really tried hard
acrylics on some paint paper, number one on my to-do list of like six acrylic paintings... i'd go more into what i'm going to paint, but if i tell anybody my plans then i'll only end up not-doing them
...time to eat fancy german chocolate... with HAZEL NUTS. omg desu.
oh yeah, the kanji says "sacred" OOH, more creativity.
and i also changed my signature... "biju" sounds nicer than my usual, boring initials
thanks so much! that means a lot, since normally my trees are so terrible it originally looked horribly flat, but i tried really hard to make it look better... i used to draw trees all skinny and twiggy, but i think i like drawing teh fat, pointy trees better more fun to shade~

Yeah, I've found it's easiest to use an impressionistic style for when I paint trees. They look more realistic and no one has to know I bolsheviked my way through it.
impressionism = love. i also like abstract expressionism, because then you don't have to know what the heck you're doing and it can still sell for millions of dollars... after you've died funny how it works that way

Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.
DeviantArt is full of extremely well produced artistic fashion and fine art photographs. Make up. Styling. Creation of scenery. Story. Light. Glamour. A combination of these expressions sometimes make up a great photograph. But the protagonists of these pictures are usually female.
So... now it's the time for male models to come into focus.

`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment.
