*Bijutsu-No-Himesama

my life sucked yesterday, lol. we went on an HOUR-AND-A-HALF drive to my grandmother's house... for lunch. then we drove home. problem was, i was having girly issues and my back and legs hurt SO badly. ouch. i was freaking out, seriously

i skipped driving for most of the trip, but about halfway home i was feeling a bit better so i had to drive new problem was, on monday we had a MONSTER storm (i was on the plane at that time so i missed it, yaaay). seriously, 94 mph winds. my dad said like 33,000 people are STILL without power, even five days later. lots of trees were down too point is, only like three traffic lights in the city are still working cuz of it, and i had to drive through ALL the ones that WEREN'T working! so, i almost died. how was your day?

anyways~ i have pictures, YAY! i'm sorry for those of you who watched my scraps, these would have come in as deviations for you and you would have had a "wtf is this" moment anyhow, the first one is mah doggie! we got film developed from the disposable camera (a rare thing here -- we'll hold onto cameras for years before getting them developed, lol), and there was one of mah dog liz in it there were also some ones that i took the other day of my front yard, but we'll get there. here's mah dog~


ISN'T SHE SOOOOO CUTE?!?!?! we love her so much even if she does bark nonstop. lolz.

anyhow, the next one is of mah flowerz! yaaay, nobody cares but i do, i planted them all myself and at first i thought they had died~ but then they all bloomed! they were so pretty... probably. they actually ALL bloomed and then died while i was in england, LOL. here they are:


oh, they are so pretty~ anyhow! the next two pictures are of parts of my front yard. we used to have bushes by the windows, but we cut them away cuz they were dead for years, that area was a patch of brown boringness: nothing grew there! but then all of a sudden, as soon as i started planting things there (my flowers), this random huge amount of weeds showed up! wtf!! but i love them, seriously. i made my dad promise not to mow them. see these in fullview, they're awesome~


awesome, huh? that one is seriously taller than me, and i'm 5'6. does anyone have any idea what it is? its stalk is like one-and-a-half inches in diameter, it's like six feet tall, it's got TINY pink flowers that are slowly turning into some kind of berry. it's so awesome.

in other news, my dad is still around here for three more days before starting work, so i'll have to start new art then. for now, i'll just continue to be... everywhere... and nowhere

yup, i survived another plane flight. and thank gawd, that one was SO long. i sat next to some kid who smelled funny and kept talking to me he was being escorted through the airports like me (cuz i have no sense of direction, LOL), but he screwed up some papers and apparently WASN'T supposed to be escorted, but he kept complaining and finally the lady taking me around let him follow us

oh, and before i go on, an endnote to mah last journal: thanks everyone who commented, i'm glad i wasn't the only one who was "wtf-ing" about that contest but it's a bit of a done-deal now, although i wish there would have at least been a voter's choice so i and probably a lot of others would have been a little more satisfied but oh well.

anyhow~~~ so yeah, tis back home, on mah american keyboard and mah gigantic computer screen (i didn't notice how small my mom's computer was until i came back here onto this one, lolz). but this computer still sucks and freezes randomly while i'm writing novel-length comments, oh NOES!

so, art status! my dad has taken this entire week off from work, so my original schedule has been screwed up a bit. i was going to get ~Jackie-Jax's contest entry done straightaway, but it's kind of...dark...which probably shouldn't be worked on in front of my father. then, i was going to work on a revamp of a VERY old deviation in my gallery, but then i realized how bad the anatomy is so i have to edit the lineart. then, i was going to work on a random fanart. THEN, i found some old lineart in my computer, and i finally settled on that. that is somewhat of a collab: i didn't do the lineart, but i checked that person's gallery and they said that all of the linearts there were free to be coloured as long as you credit them, so all is good i hope. it's a pretty lineart, i hope it turns out well

anyway, hmm... i don't normally pay much attention to OCs. like, i'd draw something that was my own creation and not a fanart, but i didn't really consider it a "character" cuz i never really thought of backstories or names or anything for them. but NOW, i have decided to pay more attention to one character of mine, who is in my gallery from like a year ago i naméd her kiska, cuz that's an awesome russian name and i've decided she's russian i've yet to decide a solid backstory for her, but i'm sure i'll get there at some point

in other news, there's STILL no other news! except that i still want a kitty, and my dad is ignoring that request unless i come right out and ask him, to which he says: "...i'm still thinking about it. ask me again some other time." nice work there.

if i got a kitty, it'd be a boy kitty. i was going to get a girl, but then i changed my mind. and that boy kitty would be named... hmm, either louis or lestat. i thought of louis, but then that reminded me of lestat, and both are cool names for evil things like cats

hmm, i think i had other stuff to rant/talk/ramble on about, but i don't remember them! so i'll leave you guys alone <3

OH, but before i go, two questions: does anyone know how paypal works, or anything about paypal? also, i want to raise money for a tablet i think. does anyone know a good tablet or prices for them?
